Provoking Each Other
1. If life is a coffee cup, grace is the urn
We drink an abundance no virtue can earn
This grace ever brimming is also our call
“Turn outward and work for what’s decent for all”
Chorus:
Provoking each other we gather once more
Provoking each other to..unbar every door
That fairness may rise up
And privilege fall
Provoking each other we gather to follow the call
2. We yearn for a state where all people know health
We dream not of narrow but wide, common wealth
If we’ve the intention to act upon these
Let’s also encourage each other to deeds. (ch)
3. Come pastor, come Chreaster, come gray hair, come youth
Come seeker of comfort, come seeker of truth
Downsize the false def’rence and get up some gall
Let’s elbow each other to answer the call (ch)
