Who made the world?
Refrain:
Who? Who made the world?
Love, Sweet Love.
Who? Who made the world?
Love, Sweet Love.
On the first day, the first day
Love, Sweet Love
KA-POW! the light came shouting
Love, Sweet Love
And it was oh, so good!
On the second day, the second day
Love, Sweet Love
The edges were expanding, KA-POW! the light came shouting
Love, Sweet Love
And it was oh, so good!
(Continue the same cumulative pattern, and drop in the refrain now and then.)
3rd day. The galaxies were twirling, the edges were expanding, KA-POW …
4th day. The sun and moon were soaring
5th day. The planets were a-cooling
6th day. The waters were a-pouring
7th day. The algae were a-blooming
8th day. The fishes were a-schooling
9th day. The prairies were a-greening
10th day. The rabbits were romancing
11th day. Both you and I were dancing
12th day. Oh, Love, she put her feet up (ahhh)…

Here’s a creation story in 12 days. It’s a cumulative song, sort of like the 12 days of Christmas. Starts out with the BIG BANG!
Recorded here as a teaching track.
Big fun: buy 200 paper lunch bags. Get a Big Bang team of 4-5 people (any age) Have them practice the day before blowing them up and exploding them. They wrap the opening around your finger to create a hole. Then blow them up, squeeze the top together, and on KaPOW, they smash it between your hands to explode. Super loud bang throughout the room. Like firecracker loud, but won’t bring the firemarshall down on you.
